International Exchange Programs

The Chamber designed the International Exchange Programs with the intent of fostering cross-cultural awareness, developing future leaders, enhancing diversity and promoting international trade.

These unique programs provide attendees the chance to travel to the United States to take part in a series of sessions, meetings, and excursions custom tailored to meet their interests. 

Programs Offered:

• International Trade - Provide international business people and students the opportunity to travel to the US for a series of sessions and meetings on US business practices and international trade. Participants will meet with US business leaders and representatives from the US Department of Commerce and the District Export Council.
  
• Cultural Awareness - Provide participants the opportunity to travel to the US and experience a wide array of diverse art and culture. Attendees will experience cultural aspects including museum tours, gourmet food, Napa Valley tour and wine tasting, tours of Universities including Stanford, opportunities to attend musical performances and theater.

• US Political Systems and Process - Provide participants the opportunity to travel to the US and gain knowledge of the US governance system and political process. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with state, local and international political representatives for informational sessions and one on one discussions.
